Friday 28 January 2023 - Friday's storm was Auckland's wettest day on record. Fire crews handled more than 2000 calls and 126 rescues between Friday and Saturday morning. Saturday 29 January 2023 - States of emergency have been declared for Auckland and the Waitomo District, with evacuations taking place in Waitomo on Saturday due to flooding. GRNZ are out in force dealing with flooded transformers and numerous power outages in the Auckland region. Cyclone Gabrielle - Thursday 9th to Tuesday 14th February - 52 generators ranging from 13kVA to 700kVA deployed for critical infrastructure, aged care, food manufacture, distribution, dairy, accommodation, rural broadband and numerous other industries. Our deployments range from Kaitaia in the north, all the way down to the Hawke's Bay region.
